# Will my order ever have substitutions applied to it?

We understand how disappointing it is when an item you ordered becomes unavailable. While we work hard to keep inventory accurate, high demand during peak periods can occasionally cause stock to sell out during order fulfillment.

If an item in your order becomes unavailable before it ships or is prepared for pickup, our team will reach out directly with options to resolve it quickly.

### Option 1: Select a Replacement Item 🎆
You can substitute the unavailable product with an alternative item of **equal or greater value or performance**:

* **Price Difference:** If your selected replacement has a higher balance, an invoice will be sent to cover the difference.
* **Fulfillment Priority:** Shipping your order out quickly is our top priority, especially during peak seasons. If we contact you regarding a substitution and do not hear back within **24 hours**, our team may exercise discretion to select a substitution of equal or greater value on your behalf so your shipment isn't delayed.

### Option 2: Receive Red Apple Cash Credit 💳
If you prefer not to substitute the out-of-stock item, you can receive the full value of the unavailable product back as **Red Apple Cash** store credit to use on future purchases.
